Neon bulbs (also referred to as Neon lamps) are light bulbs that are filled with the inert gas Neon. Other gases such as Argon, Krypton, and Helium can be added to alter the bulb’s characteristics. High-brightness bulbs often use just Neon whilst ‘standard’ brightness ones tend to use a mixture of Neon and Argon.
